Bellawood Farm Animal Herbs started over 10 years ago and was sold out of Marulan Veterinary Hospital. This came about because Dr Ruby Petersen observed chronic diseases of horses that she felt may be treated with feed supplementation of herbs.  This hit home when she received the results of a soil analysis of her Goulburn property that indicated a severe deficiency in Copper and Phosphate. This was particularly noticeable in her Chestnut horse that appeared to have a yellow tone to his coat. The only way to treat Copper deficiency is supplementation.  I recommend Rosehips because it has a high Copper component and gave a dramatic change to my Chestnut’s coat.

As time went on, the Veterinary Hospital was sold, and Ruby decided to dedicate her time to helping horse owners reach the maximum potential for their horse.
